Dell's Gateway to Christmas.

Gateway had a grand opening for a new store in Boston, yesterday, so I browsed in.

Asking about a baseline model tells me much about their structure into the advanced models, but I got a solid surprise on the low-end one.

I have always held Dell and Gateway about equal, but the scales tipped and I went sliding right off one end. If the purchase of either a Dell or a GW PC is a consideration for a stocking stuffer this year, it would behove you to compare and contrast the two very carefully, then consider looking into what CompUSA or Best Buy offers.
