Anyone having trouble with Napster BSOD on Windows Shutdown?

Ever since I upgraded to version 8, I get a Blue Screen of Death on Windows Shutdown. I completely removed it, including registry keys and installed Version 5 but still have the same problem. I'm not the only one either. Napster is ignorning this problem for some reason.

I think it trashes the network drivers somehow.

I tried beta 8. When I tried it, it was buggier than all hell. Nothing worked right. I emailed them all the bugs at bugs@napster.com

This is the email I sent them (cut n paste)....

I found 2 bugs in Beta 8

1 - All downloads are going to the root directory no matter how many times I keep changing it back to the original one I was using.

2 - When in the Hotlist, highlighting multiple files then trying to download them all does not work. Only the first file selected will download.

I've had to revert back to beta 7 which I've never had a problem with (Software related).

----

There were other issues I forget now but 7 works fine. They haven't ever replied yet.

I reverted all the way back to Beta 5 and still had the same problem. I had that problem in Version 8 that you had. what a piece of crap!

I did some research and found this app called audiognome (at http://www.audiognome.com) that connects to Napster servers. I installed it and it seems to work pretty good. I'm gonna fool around with it a bit more before I say it's a good warez though.

I find "audiogalaxy" to be quite useful, now that I am "banned by metallica" and don't want to bother working around it. www.audiogalaxy.com I'm not affiliated with them in any way.

Valkenar,

Some who have been banned by Metallica may feel comfort to know they dis-banding, or breaking up.

Allen,

Actually the whole band isn't breaking up. Just the bass player is leaving for health and family reasons. Unless you've heard something I haven't.

Val,
What did they ban you from? And how?

Metallica *****. I quit buying their garbage after that "ballad" came out.... The one about the guy with no arms, legs, eyes, ears, or weewee...

That band used to shred now they are like the traveling wilburys.
