Has anyone tried the XPerence that Bill gates is touting Beta or otherwise?
I'm leary of any software that requires me to reg. it to use it after 30 days.
Now if Uncle Bill wants to sell me the Office XP for $19.95 and charge me say $59.95 for 60 "days" use I think i'd almost get it. A "day" is 24 hours of use not calander days. That way 60 "days" could last 4 months if you don't use it often.
I just got Office XP and couldn't wait to install it. The Voice stuff is nice but it's Office 2k with ViaVoice or Dragon Dictate in it. I've a feeling the test group i'm in will report the same findings, "it's not all that" or "Save the money,Just do 2k".
Anyone else ?

I read about XP some months back and shied away from it like it was the plague.
Supposedly every time you reload it onto a pc or redo your hard drive then you have to call Ms. Software all over again.
Ms. Software wants to get users to rent software, on a $$$ per unit of time, from their servers instead of purchasing it. It is their next step in the direction of owning you.
The current suite of Wordstar products, I mean Ms. Software products, the W2k line, works for me. Watch out that Whistler may demand new versions of software.
I give this one two thumbs down.
