My password doesn't "hold" in the new forum. My name pops up after registering, but not the passwords -- even after posting. Theoretically, I shouldn't even need one as a moderator, but I still get those reminders that I didn't enter. I have to manually enter each post during the same session. Yes, my computer(s) accept cookies.

Sometimes I still have to enter my password in the other forums when posting (rare).

Has this problem just started or is it confined just to the new forum.

Are you able to enter it at all?

I'll take a quick check of the settings.
