I have my Blue belt Seikukan (3rd Kyu) and I was wondering whether it would be wise for me to start training with weapons, I would really like to learn but I don't know whether I sould wait until I get my black belt or just start now. Any advice would be great

Well...

Why do you want to learn weapons? Fun? Self-defense? Competition?

What kind of weapons do you want to learn?

Does your school teach weapons? If so, is there a set point when you start learning them? If not, what do you need to do to start learning them?
