Passbook

The Passbook idea was suggested at a meeting in 2001. The idea behind the Passbook is to encourage students to attend seminars, camps, tournaments and martial art activities and to require participation in a certain number of these activities every year as part of their black belt requirements.

IUKF issues a registration number to every person who joins IUKF. Once a member is issued a number, this number becomes a permanent part of that person's file.

IUKF will publish a list of recommended seminars and activities that qualify for Passbook entries. Instructors can supplement this list with their own recommended activities. Promoters of these seminars and activities are encouraged to have a small seal made, which can be stamped over the date and description of an approved activity.

Upon receipt of your Passbook, be sure to fill in the information page. Please also include a small passport size photo of yourself for identification when requesting a signature at an event.
