Black Belt Test Rules: Shodan - Godan

1. All candidates must meet all IUKF test standards involving total time studied and time in grade between ranks.

2. All candidates must be "pretested" by an IUKF approved shihan certified instructor or a teacher of suitable ability approved by IUKF.

3. All promotional paper work, and test fees must be submitted to the Regional Test Administrator (RTA) 30 days in advance of the test.

4. It is the responsibility of the RTA to make sure all the rules and guidelines have been meet, and fulfilled

5. The RTA submits result of all tests to IUKF.

6. IUKF sends certificates to RTA for distribution to candidates' instructors.
