You have two different issues involved in your viewing area. The first is the size of your monitor. 17" is the new norm for home computers ($200). 19" monitors are nicer and can be had for $300 if you do some shopping. Uechi vs. Grappling

I've been cross training in jiu-jitsu and read someone's comment that sanchin stance is the best Uechi defense against grapplers. I asked one of the advanced students to help test this theory. Both times I went down.

Home Dojo

I just moved into a new home with a large basement. Would like to hear pro's and con's of running a small dojo out of the house. Any thoughts about cheap flooring or will a concrete slab do?
