Wow, that's is incredible. Steve allowed me to train with him while he had a school here in Massachusetts for a while back in the late 80s. He was a great practitioner of Sensei Frank Gorman. I lost contact with him when he went to Florida, but he will be missed.
thanks,
mike

Fred,
I know you were kidding. To answer your question though, I think that it was a matter of two factors. On one hand they were trying to protect Marse Lee, while on the other hand, they were trying to protect the sanctity of Ole Virginia. No Virginian ever did anything wrong in the war don't you ...

great raids

Bill,
No comment on the Toyota. Never bought one, never will! However, I understand completely about the British Bike. My first was a 72 Norton Commando. I wish I had a picture of it, but when I was done with it, there wasn't much left. The thing was so top-heavy, I dumped it more times than I can ...

Hi John Sensei,
Let me fill in some blanks as we both have the same background. I said this on this thread years ago that I never met Kresge personally, but I do have a copy of his book. I brought it to the summer camp years ago at Bill Sensei's request. It's a good book, self-published with only ...

Congratulations
Congratulations to George Sensei! There is no one in the United States that deserves this honor more. George Sensei is a pioneer, teacher, practitioner, friend, and living legend to all of us who study Uechi-ryu. This award is well-deserved!
Congrats again George,
Mike

Fred,
For all of Woodrow Wilson's intelligence, he wasn't smart enough to realize he needed to involve the Republicans, such as Henry Cabot Lodge from Massachusetts. Because of his "insult" the United States never ratified the Treaty of Versailles or joined the League of Nations which was part of ...
