Your Clicking joints
I think I might beable to shed some light on this. Cracking your neck side to side quickly is bad. My moms boyfriend is a chiropractor and everytime I do that he grimices. The other day I asked him and he gave me the lowdown. I'm sorry but I couldn't reproduce what he told me but it has something ...

Whats so great about BJJ?
Thanks a lot T Rose, I guess I missed that down there. That thread pretty much said every thing I wanted to know.

Whats so great about BJJ?
I have never seen it in action but everbody raves about it. How does it compare to the more traditional Oriental jj and is it all that different in the first place? Thanks

Videos?
How many of you guys use videos as training aids(supplements rather than replacments)? If so do you have any that deserve 2 thumbs up?
I used to have a couple from Panther and the only decent one was a chinese broadsword one. I thought it did a good job explaining the basics ...

Do you have a carry permit?
OOH-RAH Rich!
Allen, Yeah I used to live in a small town called killingworth. I lived on a little over 11 acres with another 2-300 or so acres. The boonies are there in CT but you really have to look for them.
Also I do treat guns with an irrelevant nature, never EVER an irresposible one though ...

Do you have a carry permit?
Sorry if I came off as intrusive. I just didn't think it was a big deal.
Rich, I'm not real worried about getting a whole lot of trigger time in the COrp. If I wanted to shoot guns I would go back to CT and shoot in my back yard. I am joining the Corp to serve my country not to shoot guns(although ...

Do you have a carry permit?
Don't worry about me being offended(I'm a believer in the 1st also http://www.xpres.net/~gmattson/ubbs/wink.gif )
Let me just say that I AM a gun-nut and redneck and have NEVER been offended in being called either. I also do not group those statements into the same category as the "n" word or the ...

Do you have a carry permit?
While I'm to young to carry (17) in public, I did when I lived in the boonies of CT for snake and coon protection and I will when I turn 21(I'll be in the USMC by then too) because I am a big gun nut.
I was curious if you carried, why, and what you carry and if being a martial artists effects that ...

Jujistsu & High School Wrestling
For those who have done both, do you think jujitsu will help someone in wrestling?
I had some contact with jujitsu back when I was around 12 and have probably forgotten most of it now http://www.xpres.net/~gmattson/ubbs/smile.gif . While I think wrestling is more about raw, savage power than ...
