Yea, we've had some real crap on the forums in the past. This was indeed a jewel. That's before the days where I finally decided to flush posts that went over the edge.

Mr. Morris is Mr. Morris. I choose not to go there right now. It bores me.
Igor on the other hand... Way back around 1980, I put Igor and someone from New York (Kenny Elter) up in my Charlottesville apartment for a week. We fed them, entertained them with college parties, and brought them to work out with other Uechi folk such as Marty Dow and Bob Galeone. And for all of some individuals trying to make Igor out to be some sparring God, all I can say is - NOT! I refereed a match between Marty and Igor, and Marty spent a good deal of the match literally dusting the floor with him. I've never seen Marty spar so spectacularly, and thrash someone so soundly. There was something about Igor's style that brought the Kadena dojo killer attitude out of Marty. So... All of Igor's bravado IMO was the rantings of nothing more than a pretty good karateka and not a lot more. Yugoslavia - or what's left of it - has a lot to be thanful for. But Igor has David Finkelstein and others on this side of the pond to thank for taking a wet-behind-the-ears boy and helping to turn him into a man. And this is the thanks we get?
This was one of many "bad memory" threads that I truly hope Igor has grown past. As a matter of fact, it's worth mentioning that when I visited Germany, someone approached me with a case of beer - courtesy of Igor. I guess we can say that bygones should be bygones.
And I do miss JD and that special caustic brand of humor, but he has other dragons to slay. I wish him well. Say hi to him for me, Tony.
