Using Homeopathic Remedies

In these articles, I will identify various disorders which plague us martial artists (and others), and suggest a rule-of-thumb remedy which is likely to work most of the time. Over the years I have had huge success with various remedies, but they do not work for everyone, and complicated or long-established disorders will need far more investigation than rule-of-thumb treatments.

Boils or abscesses:

Around 3 doses of Homeopathic Hepar Sulph (Hep Sul) 30C, combined with 3 doses of Silica (Sil) 30C, has never failed in my experience.

When a terribly painful boil, radiating heat like a small furnace, appears rapidly, you can treat it with 3 doses of Homeopathic Belladonna 30C or Ferrum Phos 30C. Following this with Hep Sul will prevent infection, and Sil will cause any trapped pus to be expelled.
