A most wonderful and happy birthday, George.

As I have said before, it may be your birthday but all your students, past and present, and all those who have been spawned by your 'progeny' get the presents.

As for 'losing a year' the real reason that in 'Uechi Years' you are only 45 [the reverse of a dog year being 7 human years]. If the math is too complicated do not worry, that is why you dropped out of accounting at BU. [grin].

In coming March I shall also attain 69 years young. Thank you for leading the way.

It is my fervant hope that I can so compliment you on your 100th - unless of course you are still on that Macro-Biotic diet you tried to foist on us in 1960 - Yechhhh! [grin].

Fondest.

Happy Birthday, George

Don't be depressed. Look at it this way, I am almost 52 (no, sorry, 62, where the hell did those 10 years go?) and I was "playing" with some real nice young things during my recent job assignment in Beijin :D .

You met my father. He is 87 and my Retirement Calculation is based on 105.

Keep doing those katas and mix in a few golf sessions a week, have green tea after lunch and California Merlot with your dinners, and a trip to China once in a while  . When I am 105 you will only be 112, still not quite old enough to get on the Guiness Book of Record but I will buy everyone here a round.

Have a great Birthday!!
