Steelers Yes! Pats No.

Steelers Yes! Pats No.

How about those Steelers?

The beginning of the end of celebrations in Bean Town perhaps?

Naaaaaa...

They just decided they wanted to leave Miami's "only perfect season" record intact for another year... Don't count your championships before they hatch. New England fans have learned that lesson well with ALL of the pro sports teams here. Just when you thought there was going to be a basketball dynasty... BAM... long dry spell with no light at the end of the tunnel... After finally getting to the Superbowl... an awful defeat that was embarassing for years... after having a number of Stanley Cups come to Beantown... yet another drought... and of course, "the curse". Well, there are two things that New England sports fans know: 1) Patience, because when this year isn't the one, there's always next year (86 of them for the Sox)... and 2) when there IS a world championship, these New Englandahs shuwah know how ta throw a PAHTY... down at tha BAH neah tha fenway wif Callahan, Kerrigan, Sully, Sully, Sully and Sully! :P

There were two reasons why Pittsburgh beat the Jets...

1) Because if the Jets had won, last nights game would have been in Foxboro and even if they had the field and stadium dug out, it would have been very dangerous for the fans to get there. 2-3 feet of snow across Massachusetts...

2) So the Steelers could prove they really are the best team in football in the 04-05 season... Oops... Ummmmm... Well, the kid is an outstanding QB, but in the end, he IS a rookie. IMNSHO, in a few years we'll be looking at a 3, 4, 5X Superbowl team in Pittsburgh, talking about "dynasty" there, and reminiscing about Bradshaw. But not this year...

Now back to the shovel...

:(

However, the team has a great future. Ben R. will return next year with a season of experience under his belt. The offensive line is outstanding and the defense is and will be the best in the NFL. The Rooney family ranks as one of the best, if not the best, owners in the NFL as well.

So, see you all in the playofs for many years to come. :D
