Plymouth Sports Dome

Post by Gene DeMambro »

GEM-Senei,

I just read in the paper today that the Plymouth Sports Dome collapsed during the snow storm last month. News reports indicate rebulidng will not be finished until the fall. Luckily, no one was injured. I was still saddened to hear this, as Darren, his partners and his employees have been such gracious hosts the last couple of years. Have plans been made for an alternative site for April 30th?

We will be using the same facility that Fred Channel used. Darrin Yee participated in WinterFest this weekend and told me about his plans to rebuild the "Dome"... However it will be a more conventional building, less prone to collapse with the next bad storm.

Championships will be held April 30th (Saturday)
