letters from home.....

This is Dave Young's Forum.
Can you really bridge the gap between reality and training? Between traditional karate and real world encounters? Absolutely, we will address in this forum why this transition is necessary and critical for survival, and provide suggestions on how to do this correctly. So come in and feel welcomed, but leave your egos at the door!

letters from home.....

Post by Mills75 »

Heard about a guy in New york named Jacobs with a son in the military who is in Korea and I guess someone from a local school asked this father if they could send his son some letters from class..anyhow the father said yeah sure that would be nice until his son got back to his father and told him that the letters from the class asked the soldiers why they were killing innocent Iraqi's and destroying mosques..this upset the soldier and his father and it's been a story in the news..isn't it ashame today that little kids are coached by ignorant teachers to write letters accussing the people who protect their freedoms of crimes? I believe it's more than a shame and the teacher should apologize publicly..to me it isn't about free speech but about decency and respect and knowing these young men and women have orders they have to carry out for us as they always have done..if people have political issues they should contact their senator and not our soldiers with their nonsense..the only letters that should arrive to our troops should be about love and support and thanks..bottomline in my view...
