Yahoo for my Wahoo! I am very proud of my daughter. She is graduating next Saturday from UVa, with a degree in Biology. She has been on an ROTC scholarship and will be in the Air Force. I am so proud of her in many ways. I believe she will do well at whatever she decides.
I felt so tremendously saddened for the family of the young woman recently murdered at UVa and cannot imagine the overwhelming grief at her loss, especially so close to finishing her degree and starting her life. That is truly a parent's worse fear and nightmare, to lose a child. You certainly assume your children will out live you and do well. God bless and comfort that family.
I am so blessed to have all of three of my children. They have been great kids, have done well in their choices in life thus far, and raising wonderful grand kids. They practice tough love but their children know they are loved. I used to think we were to hard on them, but not now. They are awesome and I love them so very much.
Happy summer everyone!
Regards,
Vicki
