Uechi Weights?

Post by Ken Read »

I haven't been around this forum for a while. Has "Strength Training for Uechi Ryu: Part II" come up? I didn't find it in the archives, but then I couldn't find Part I either. I must be doing something wrong there. I hope I'm not wasting space here. Anyway, I thought Part I was great. Thanks.

Ken

What, you missed it???

Thanks for the prod. I'll get to it soon. I have all the material together to do Part II. I have been busy, plus I have been working on Part III (and maybe IV). This may affect what I put in two. But...I should just do it.

Lately I have been working with an Occupational Therapist in my dojo to improve some aspects of finger/hand/forearm training. The idea is to bring it beyond carrying vases or jars (kami) in the dojo. But, I'll get to that soon enough.

I'll get Part II done soon. And just before it is posted, I'll find Part I and put a post on it to bring it up top.

Bill-Sensei,

Just to let you know Ken is not the only one activly "lurking"(and in this case, for me personally the term does apply) and waiting for this information. Not to pester you, take your time, but it is a great topic that we need education and direction on.

Yes, I am a shamless lurker, but I really haven't been around lately and did think I might have missed it. No prodding intended.

Sure sounds like it's going to be worth the wait. Looking forward to it. Thanks in advance.
