Books

Post by JaySal »

Hello All:

I have been asked by a some Uechi Ryu Tournament competitors
Where they could learn some of the new two person sets they saw
Preformed at the last tournament. Two person sets such as:
The Shohei Ryu Yakusoko Kumite. and San Sei Ryu Bunki.,,,,

Well it just so happends that Senior Instructor Steve Banchick
(Stoughton , Massachusetts – Dojo), Has a couple of books that
he is selling that contains these Two-person sets in great detail.
The books were written by Mr. Takimiyagi (Shohei 9th dan – Okinawa).

I happen to already own this set of books. I try to maintain a good
Uechi Ryu book collection. I can tell you first hand that this book
Is outstanding. It has great pictures. I mean very good detail that
Will help anyone who is trying to learn material from a book.
A true "Must Have",, for a good Uechi Ryu Book collection.

If you have interest, please contact Steve Banchick at his Stoughton,
Ma, Dojo. Or contact me, and I will gladly pass on the contact
information to him.

Thank you…
Jay Sal

There were juniors at the last tourney doing Sanseiryu bunkai?
Wow, I got to take a break at the next one and look around.
